Lyreco partners with Another Tomorrow to inform and accelerate their green transition
We’re excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Lyreco Denmark to inform and accelerate their green transition by measuring transition capability and pace in the upcoming months.
This will be done using TransitionView, a framework and tool developed by Another Tomorrow and climate researchers Åsa Löfgren and Sverker Jagers. This novel framework centres around three fundamental pillars of collective action: Willingness, Readiness and Openness. Via the TransitionView self-assessment, Lyreco will identify gaps and opportunities for impact – insights that can serve as a base for future decision-making and a robust roadmap ahead.
“It's exciting to partner with an organisation that is already at the forefront of transitioning into the green economy, help them shine a light on this journey and identify areas of opportunity for greater impact” says Lisa Stenvinkel, Head of Sustainable Impact at Another Tomorrow.
For climate claims to be credible, they must be backed up by detailed transition plans with tangible targets, clear budget allocations and integrated into the firm-wide strategy. For these claims to actually be achievable, human factors such as attitudes, awareness, and internal alignment are fundamental, as they set the conditions for any organisational change. TransitionView supports sustainability managers by capturing all this in a conceptual framework.
“We’ve just conducted our first assessment using TransitionView. The assessment included all departments of Lyreco Denmark and is a first step in defining a baseline for our transition potential. The results reflect the effect of our internal awareness-creating initiatives while qualifying our discussions on how to accelerate the execution of our sustainability strategy”, says Gro Kardel, ESG Manager, Lyreco Denmark.
Keep your eyes peeled for future updates on the progress and if this peaked your interest, reach out to Lisa to talk more.
